ASBO - A magazine mentoring concept for unemployed young creatives

The D Foundation established ASBO Magazine in order to incorporate unemployed young people into every aspect and layer of the magazine's production, from styling to shooting fashion collections or interviewing bands to writing features on new products. The magazine mentoring concept is an invaluable resource to those looking to forge a career in fashion, music design, journalism, photography and styling. The guidance and responsibility given to those involved has enabled young people to make a career out of unemployment. The D Foundation charity, through our old and current magazine titles, has mentored countless success stories of young people getting jobs and creative careers for themselves.

We focus on mentoring young people into employment (working for others) or business (working for themselves). We also ask those that we have mentored to go on to act as mentors for other young people.
